Kristin and Steve's collaborative efforts on ARP!
http://www.arp-retirement.com
Web Works has its niche in service oriented websites. Most of our sites are centered around the industries of residential and commercial construction, plumbing & electrical work, however we are spreading our wings every day with sites that cover new territory - and ARP is a prime example.
The coordinator and copywriter, Kristin McMahon, did an exceptional job of researching and studying the subject of retirement planning. Not only did she put in the time learning the "ins and outs" of this service, she wrote from the human perspective as well. Asking friends and family what they wanted out of retirement planning, she put in the extra effort to make sure her writing was geared towards actual people and their needs.
Steve Starzyk was the designer working on this site. His goal, before even opening Photoshop, was to create a design that was clean, user friendly and professional. He chose a cool color scheme, consisting of monochromatic blues, to help communicate the trust this company has to offer. He set up the home page in a three column layout so that viewers would be able to find what they wanted right away.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Web Works welcomes Evan Miller to the ranks of Senior staff!
Evan Miller celebrated a recent promotion from Staff Designer to Senior Web Designer at Web Works on December 21st. He's been a major player in the success of our company and at present has designed countless web sites for small businesses around the country.
Along with being a talented, resourceful web designer, Evan's also an incredible offline artist (no kidding, look at his fine art pieces and illustrations: www.evanart.com), an indispensable coworker, and a dear friend to many of us on the Web Works crew.
We'll blame the tardiness of this post on the crazy holiday season, but luckily, Evan is a patient guy, i.e. doesn't mind waiting a couple more weeks for this post to be indexed and appear as a search result when Googling his name. Take that, nosey former high school peers and Facebook stalkers!
Cheers to Evan Miller!
